The Internet is evolving at an incredible pace driven by constant innovation and development of new services.
This drive for increased functionality places huge demands for bandwidth, availability, latency and security and this is stretching both the current infrastructure and the business models for providers of both content and services.
So what is the right ‘shape’ for the Internet in the UK and who will invest to produce the infrastructure? How will technology meet the demands and how will we charge for services?
These questions and many more will be debated at The Montague on the Gardens Hotel in London on Thursday October 20th. We have a distinguished panel of speakers who will present current thinking from content providers, service providers, academia and government and there will be ample time for delegates to get involved directly in the debate.
