A Knowledge Transfer Network (KTN) is a single over-arching national network in a specific field of technology or business application. It connects people from academic, research, finance and technology fields to stimulate innovation through collaboration.
What's the event about?
The aim of this showcase event, being held in the Drumossie Hotel, Inverness on 12 April 2011 from 11:00 - 16:00, is to:
- Introduce the benefits of being part of a Knowledge Transfer Network to Scottish businesses. Find out how the network can support your business.
- Create opportunities for new and improved connections between Scottish businesses, academic institutions, public agencies and the Knowledge Transfer Newtork.
- Introduce the new KTN Connect service - it provides access to potential business partners, entrepreneurs, collaborators, researchers and academics.
- Encourage communications between Scottish businesses in digital communications, digital activity, health (assisted living, healthtech and medicines), energy (including marine and offshore) and sustainability.
