Prospects Events are hosting the second Skills Scotland event this Autumn. Attracting over 7,000 young people aged between 14 -19 it allows them to gain access to employers, training providers, sector skill bodies, voluntary organisations, colleges & universities and anyone else who may help shape their decisions and affect their life choices.
This year we have the support of The Scottish Government, Skills Development Scotland and Learning & Teaching Scotland all of whom have identified Skills Scotland as a unique opportunity to influence young minds about their future; a dynamic, interactive event that is about inspiration & future engagement as well as direct recruitment - to support policy framework areas such as 16+ Learning Choices and the senior phase of the Curriculum for Excellence.
Reasons for you to be there:
1. Cost effective way to raise your profile / plan for the future.
2. Engage and meet with thousands of young people in one venue.
3. Inform young people of what you do / how you operate and what training opportunities you provide. Tell them of the skills that your industry need now and in the future.
4. Change perceptions about your sector or industry.
5. Show that the IT sector in Scotland is vibrant, has a future and is something they could be involved with.
