TickITplus is the new standard which replaces TickIT, the established quality certification for software development.  TickITplus adds a new dimension to the existing scheme, combining industry best practice with International IT standards. It provides ISO 9001 accredited certification with a Capability Grading for all sizes and types of IT organisations. In addition it will promote Auditor and Practitioner competency and training within established qualification standards.

TickITplus has been developed to address comparisons  with other process and capability based models, such as CMMI, which have wider international recognition and focus on capability measurement and improvement. With technology, perceptions and needs changing it was  felt appropriate to give TickIT an overhaul.

This seminar will be of interest to any organisation developing or delivering software/IT products or services, not just those with current ISO9001/TickIT certification. It may also offer a route to recognising performance against related standards such as ISO20000 Service management and ISO27001 Information Security Management and also towards the process capability models CMMi and ISO15504 (SPICE).
