Moving into international markets can be daunting for some, yet many of your fellow ScotlandIS members have already successfully internationalised, or are taking steps to do so, so there is increasing expertise on how to do this successfully.  To harness this knowledge and provide a practical self help group we are launching the G3 Special Interest Group with a focus on global markets. We want to shape this to meet the needs of our members, and so we're holding a short series of 'focus groups' to collect people's views, and ideas.

On Thursday 10th November User Vision will be hosting our 7th annual free event, featuring a range of fun and interesting activities and demos to learn about the world of usability and user experience.

They are delighted that our popular annual open-house event has been selected by the UPA as one of only five official Partner Events for World Usability Day 2011. Once again they will open the doors of our newly refurbished head office in Edinburgh and will be offering you the opportunity to take part in a wide variety of usability, accessibility and user experience activities investigating the role of technology on social behaviour.
