G3, Special Interest Group
Venue: Pinsent Masons, 123 St Vincent Street, Glasgow
Date: Thu 3 Nov 2011
Moving into international markets can be daunting for some, yet many ScotlandIS members have already successfully internationalised, or are taking steps to do so, creating increasing expertise on how to do this successfully. To harness this knowledge and provide a practical self help group we're launching the G3 Special Interest Group with a focus on global markets.
We want to shape the group's agenda to meet the needs of members, so we're holding a short series of 'focus groups' to collect people's views and ideas.
Product Management and Marketing, Special Interest Group
Venue: Radisson Blu Hotel, Royal Mile, Edinburgh
Date: Wed 26 Oct 2011
At this meeting we are planning to tackle the top 4 priorities as decided at the previous meeting.
These priorities are:
1. Translation between market requirements and product requirement
2. Competitive/Market analysis
3. Product Marketing & the means by which it and Product Management can be effectively integrated... where to draw the line, or no
4. Managing engineering (esp delivery schedules & scope creep)
