As the products we create become more complex and rely on an increasing number of screens and platforms, accurately communicating the intended design to programmers and other stakeholders is becoming increasingly important... and challenging.

The Agile movement, continuous changes in technology, and the ubiquity of computing devices have all prompted discussion about the role of the tester. Whatever the organizational structure of our development shops, it's time for us testers to get out of the Quality Assurance business.

This workshop aims to explore the business case and business opportunities in advanced transport modelling applications using high performance computing. The workshop will investigate and prioritise the challenges and barriers faced within transport modelling across road, rail and maritime sectors, and build upon these and establish “what is next”, with input to the transport roadmap.
