Risk Assessment done! But can you prove it?!
Venue: Burness, 9th floor, 120 Bothwell Street, Glasgow G2 7JL
Date: Tue 29 Sep 2009
Risk assessments are a legal obligation for all businesses. If you have five or more employees then the findings must be recorded in writing. The creation, review and updating of risk assessments is a huge burden to businesses. Most health & safety prosecutions include charges relating to risk assessment and recent legislation in the form of the Health & Safety Offences and Penalties Act 2008. Also, the sentencing guidelines issued by the High Court as part of two recent Appeal Cases have increased penalties for health and safety offences.
Are you fully aware of your legal obligations?
Are you recording risk assessment data accurately enough to remain compliant?
We would like to invite you to this lunchtime seminar, hosted by leading law firm Burness and technology specialists eSquiggles. The seminar will outline the legislative framework surrounding risk assessment, the steps required for legal compliance and the consequences of failure. Attendees will also gain an insight into how technology can improve your data collection, enhance management reporting and help achieve legislative compliance.
Relevant for: individuals with building management, facilities management, health & safety, environmental and legionella risk assessment responsibilities.

These solutions are now applicable to a much wider range of businesses and the number and range of RFID technologies are growing each year as companies realise the benefits of using them to improve manufacturing efficiency, manage assets and save time and money.
