Company Creators is Scotland’s longest-established entrepreneurial advisory business. Owned and managed by successful entrepreneurs Alastair Balfour and Elie Chilton, the firm provides growth-focused strategic and financial planning services. It also helps to raise finance.

In the past 11 years Company Creators has worked with over 150 growth companies, start-ups and spinouts, in the process delivering over 500 strategy planning workshops and helping secure funding totalling more than 20m GBP between equity, debt and grants.

We have worked with many technology companies across the spectrum of software – including enterprise platforms, SAAS, online retailers and games – hardware, medical devices and telecoms. We have a particular expertise in helping software developers commercialise their technology through productisation, and have worked with a number of ScotlandIS members.
Before taking on any assignment, we sit down with a company’s directors for a ‘no-holds-barred’ session to identify the major issues to be resolved for a successful growth plan to be created. We always work for successful outcomes in our projects, and usually achieve them.
