PhoneLink from VVS is a non-PC reliant Video Compression System which facilitates access and remote viewing of CCTV camera pictures over a standard telephone line. This can be done from anywhere in the world using a PhoneLink set-top box and a standard television set or a PC. This proprietary technology is designed to give business owners and managers the ability to monitor their enterprises seven days a week over standard telephone lines. The company’s established market is the security industry. However there are many possible applications for the PhoneLink system and its associated loss-less image compression technology which VVS now wishes to develop. VVS Ltd is Dublin based and is seeking to expand its operation in Scotland by developing its technology in video and image systems. They are keen to develop links with Universities and other technology businesses.
