SymetriQ offers a fully scalable Cloud Computing platform aimed at demanding customers who require Enterprise Service Level Agreements and greater flexibility than currently offered by “consumer” clouds such as Amazon and GoGrid. This is a Cloud Computing infrastructure suitable for enterprise customers who demand reliability, performance and the ability to quickly scale.

The SymetriQ Public Enterprise Cloud gives end users complete control over their Private Virtual Data Centre. They can provision Virtual Dedicated Servers with variable memory capacity and full choice of operating systems, provision additional storage capacity, manage their internal and external IP addresses, provision pre-configured appliances like virtual firewalls and do all of this through a dynamic Flash interface.

The SymetriQ Enterprise Cloud is housed in an ISO27001 and ISO 9001 certified data centre and provides automatic data backups with end-user manageable restores.

SymetriQ useS a drag-&-drop provisioning system and custom written billing engine that allows clients to deploy a private data centre quickly and then be charged by the hour. There are no long term contracts, the cloud can be used in one hour increments while long term data storage charges are only a few pence per gigabyte per month. SymetriQ only chargeS clients when they use the resources like a true utility.

Markets

SymetriQ is aimed not only at demanding direct customers. It has also created a fully white-labeled platform where ISVs can sell their software in the Cloud as Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) and Resellers can offer advanced hosting and data centre services without having to buy or own a single piece of hardware. Companies offering IT consultancy or system integration services can benefit from the agility and flexibility that the SymetriQ platform offers.
