The Company’s services fall into three categories: ICT Consultancy Services Cygnet’s team of experienced consultants provides independent and objective advice and support on all aspects of the use of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) in businesses both large and small. Specialist areas include: IT development strategies; Requirements analysis and specification; IT procurement support; Software project management and Quality systems to ISO 9001 and ISO 9000-3 TickIT. Software Implementation Services Development of software solutions to meet the specific needs of clients: Database applications (principally SQL Server Access MySQL and Oracle); Local/Wide Area Network solutions; Customised manufacturing solutions; Internet/Intranet technologies and eBusiness solutions. Cygnet Solutions operates under a number of Government and EU aided schemes and is able to attract grant support to assist eligible Small-Medium Enterprises (SMEs) with the cost of consultancy and software projects. Flexible Working Solutions Provision of tailored solutions to support the ‘distributed workforce’ i.e. the use of secure Internet access; hosted applications; virtual private networks (VPNs); IP telephony and other relevant technologies to support a workforce operating across multiple offices or working from home.
