Organisation Description

ECTA is a Joined up for Jobs initiative delivered across the City of Edinburgh. Involving the Capital City Partnership City of Edinburgh Council Careers Scotland Jobcentre Plus Scottish Enterprise Edinburgh and Lothian Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce and other key partners including Cisco Systems and Microsoft Inc and with the help of an European Social Fund grant ECTA programmes are offered at a range of leading training centres throughout the city of Edinburgh. ECTA is part of the LearnDirect Scotland sponsored Industry Alliance for Jobs programme which aims improve the IT skills of 100 000 Scots by 2010 and help them to find long-term employment.
