2009 Scottish Offshore Achievement Awards
The search is now on to identify individuals and organisations that demonstrate outstanding achievements and contribution to the success of Scotland's oil and gas industry. The 2009 Scottish Offshore Achievement Awards take place on 26 March 2009 at the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre.
With nine award categories to choose from, ITF and DECC are jointly sponsoring The Idea award, the first time this category has been available.
The Idea award recognises excellence in innovative technology ideas with the potential for development. The judges will be looking for evidence of novelty and innovation in your idea, that it addresses a need within the industry and has the essence of a business case to take it forward.
The Idea Award winner will receive £5,000 for further development of ‘The Idea’. In addition, ITF will work with the winner to help develop a proposal to submit for further funding as a ‘Pioneer’ project.
The closing date for entries is 30 January 2009.
