Atos Origin Donates essential IT equipment to Firefly Arts
Livingston employer and leading international IT services company Atos Origin has donated essential IT equipment to local youth theatre Firefly Arts.
This week, Tim Davidson, of Atos Origin’s Livingston office, was delighted to present Joanna van den Berg, Director of Firefly Arts, and colleagues with a range of specialist IT equipment to provide them with a more effective office system and access to a variety of online tools.
Based at the Howden Park Centre in Livingston, Firefly Arts runs a series of drama workshops and productions and is committed to enriching the lives of children and young adults across West Lothian. Atos Origin, awarded Best Business in West Lothian at the West Lothian Chamber of Commerce Excellence Awards 2009, helps local initiatives such as Firefly Arts, as part of its proactive approach to corporate social responsibility.
Tim Davidson, Technical Development Lead at Atos Origin, commented: “As someone who has experienced the great work that Firefly Arts does, I am pleased that we are helping them to offer support to others through this donation.” Tim is set to continue in his role as a volunteer at Firefly Arts and will pull together the technical process of installing and maintaining the new IT equipment.
Director of Firefly Arts, Joanna van den Berg said: “Atos Origin’s generous donation will allow the staff here at Firefly Arts to concentrate on providing quality and fun drama activities for young people across West Lothian.”

Firefly Arts, formally known was West Lothian Youth Theatre, was set up in 1990 and is a registered charity.
