Closing date for TTOM applications
The closing date for the next round of TTOM grant applications is 26th November 2010. Aimed at helping smaller technology companies to access technology expertise within Scotland's Higher Education Institutions, businesses can apply for a grant of up to £5000.
Funded by Scottish Enterprise, TTOM aims to improve technology transfer between the SME base and Scotland's Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in a range of high growth markets, associated with new technology development. It is intended to support technology transfer projects, particularly with a cross-sectoral and inter-disciplinary focus.
TTOM Grants will be paid directly to eligible SME companies on a competitive basis, who will then contract with relevant research groups in higher education institutes to provide the assistance required. The maximum level of grant will be £5000, paid at a maximum rate of 75% of total project costs, with the remaining 25% being cash or in-kind contributions from the client company.
