DLA Piper Scotland achieves top rankings in new Chambers guide
DLA Piper Scotland is celebrating success in the new Chambers Guide to the Legal Profession after achieving top rankings in Information Technology and Restructuring & Insolvency.
DLA Piper Scotland’s Information Technology Group, led by John McKinlay, and its Restructuring team, led by Yvonne Brady, were both ranked in joint first place in their relevant categories in the latest edition of the prestigious guide to the UK legal profession.
The Information Technology team has built its reputation on providing IT and outsourcing advice to financial services clients including the Royal Bank of Scotland, Lloyds Banking Group, Tesco Bank and National Australia Group. The team also advises a range of other public and private sector bodies on IT matters, including Edinburgh Fringe, Student Loans Company, the Association of Chief Police Officers in Scotland and Scottish Power.
Chambers commends the work done by John and fellow partner Scott Thiel and director Callum Sinclair. In relation to Scott Thiel, Chambers states that he is recommended for outsourcing projects and is “good at bringing his experience to bear on difficult issues”.
