Dell lift trophy as sun shines on ScotlandIS golf match
Thirteen teams competed at the annual ScotlandIS golf match last Friday. Sponsored by Tide Resourcing, the match included teams from Electrum, Bright Purple, Capgemini, Tide Resourcing, Alienation Digital, Radiator, Cisco, Dell, Burness, Intrinsic Technology Ltd, and two combination teams from Conscia, IBM, UserVision, Edge Testing, Cameron House and Innovation Centres Scotland, who fought it out for the highly coveted trophies
Although the promised rain thankfully failed to materialise, the soft going proved challenging for many teams, and it wasn’t till quite late in the afternoon that two teams began to emerge with a clear lead. In the end the team from Dell powered through to first place with an overall score of 91, and won the first prize of individual trophies, and a four ball at Carrick Golf course, Loch Lomond, generously donated by Cameron House Hotel. They were followed closely by the team from Tide Resourcing, with a score of 89, who picked up the second prize, a set of 3 Titleist NXT golf balls for each team player, kindly donated by Tide Resourcing.
Individual medals went to Stuart MacDonald of Cameron House for the longest drive and Kenny Duncan from the Tide Resourcing team for nearest the pin.
Both the combination teams put in excellent scores of 86, and 84 respectively, with the teams from Bright Purple (83) and Capgemini (82) following close behind. Thereafter the scores tailed off ........
We’d like to thank everyone who took part for helping to make the match a great success and particular thanks to our sponsors, Tide Resourcing, and to Cameron House Hotel for the first prize.
