Edge Testing on course for record year
Having notched up £500k in sales for the first six months of 2010, Edge Testing is predicting turnover will break the £1m barrier this year.
The software testing company, which moves into its new headquarters at the Maxim Business Park this month, has announced continued expansion with employee numbers up to 12, and a sales forecast for the full year of £1.2m up from £500,000 last year.
Susan Chadwick, Edge Testing’s co-founder, told Business 7: “We are incredibly proud of what we have achieved in three short years and it is thanks to the whole Edge team and our focus on service excellence, thought leadership and our unique solutions that has helped us, not only to weather a stormy market but to prosper.
"We are very excited about the future and what we can achieve for software testing as an industry and the IT sector as a whole in Scotland.”
Edge Testing are members of ScotlandIS, and Susan sits on the Board, as one of the smaller companies representatives. Polly Purvis, Executive Director of ScotlandIS, welcomed the news saying "This is great news for Edge Testing, and we're delighted to see their continued growth. Testing is a key element in reliable software deployment, and the market for testing expertise is growing."
