Enigma People Solutions finds a leader for groundbreaking software testing business
Specialisterne Scotland is a new Glasgow-based social enterprise established by CEiS (Community Enterprise in Scotland). Based on a groundbreaking business model originated in Denmark, Specialisterne Scotland is focused on employing people with an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) as software testers. The National Autistic Society Scotland (NAS) estimates that, in Scotland, only 13% of adults with an autism spectrum disorder are in full-time employment.
David Mains of Enigma People Solutions said: “This was a challenging brief given the unique mix of business and ‘soft’ skills that the role demands. We’re delighted that the bespoke executive search strategy that we recommended and executed on behalf of Specialisterne UK has resulted in the appointment of an exceptional candidate as their new General Manager.”
James Finnie of CEiS added “The benefit of working with Enigma was that they quickly understood exactly what we were trying to achieve and their involvement allowed us to focus on all the other activity associated with setting up the new business, safe in the knowledge that the search for our general manager was being handled professionally on our behalf."
