MicroStrategy Expands UK Operations by Adding New Sales Team in Scotland
Business intelligence software firm MicroStrategy®, today announced that it has expanded its UK presence with the creation of a new sales team in Scotland.
MicroStrategy has more than 40 offices, serving the Americas, Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Asia Pacific. Building on MicroStrategy’s current UK presence, the Scottish sales team will service existing clients and develop new relationships as the business intelligence market expands in Scotland.
Industry analyst Gartner recently reported that global spending on business intelligence (BI), analytics and performance management applications rose to $10.5 billion in 2010, an increase of more than 13 per cent over 2009, whilst the introduction of tablet PCs has seen the use of mobile business intelligence increase with large enterprises.
