NVT to join Nexsan’s Executive Advisory Council for Europe
NVT, the Bellshill-based IT solutions group, has just received a major partnership award from Nexsan, the California-based IT storage giants. This sees NVT become the leading strategic European partner for the US company. NVT entered in to a partnership agreement with Nexsan in November 2010, having identified their storage solutions as an ideal fit with software solutions from CommVault and DataCore, already part of NVT’s portfolio. In recognition for being the American company's fastest-growing European partner, Tommy Mitchell, NVT’s Technical Director, has been invited to join Nexsan’s Executive Advisory Council (EAC) for Europe. It’s the first time a Scot has held such a position.
NVT have also announced a major increase in revenue and profits for the last financial year, recording a pre-tax profit of £802k from a total revenue of £10.5m. This is a significant increase from last year's revenue of £8m and the second successive year of 20% plus growth. Major contracts during 2011 for clients such as Babcock International Group, Optical Express plc, Wolfson Microelectronics, Response Intelligent Outsourcing, Scott Group, Arthur McKay, Tayside Fire Service and Digby Brown Solicitors have helped deliver this growth, generating an additional £1m in revenue. NVT designed and implemented data management solutions using a combination of CommVault and Nexsan solutions.
