Profits up at Axios
Axios Systems, the Scottish software developer, has posted a £2 million-plus increase in profits, driven largely by overseas contract wins, on turnover for the year to September 2010 of £20.2 million. Axios is the world’s largest independent provider of IT Service Management solutions, and its core software product, Assyst, has become the standard IT management system for customers. The group has continued to expand globally, and now has offices from Melbourne to Colorado.
Axios Systems, which counts the Competition Commission, Lego, Aviva and
numerous governments among its client base, creates software systems
that track assets and errors and manage solutions for helpdesk
operations and IT service managers in large organisations. Recently, the company has been investing in being able to offer customers the flexibility of Assyst on a Software as a Service (SaaS) basis.
