Rocela reports record growth
More good news from the Scottish software industry as Rocela releases its accounts for the year to November 2010. Following hot on the heels of Axios's results, Rocela delivered record growth in 2010, with turnover almost doubling to £29.1 million and pre-tax profits rising to £547,000 from £222,000.
The firm - a world-leading independent Oracle consultancy - reported that its client-retention rate for managed services reached 100 per cent. Chief Executive Martin Mutch said: "The financial results are a direct reflection of Rocela's continued growth in the Oracle managed and professional service industries." But he warned that public sector cut backs and "economic uncertainties" facing mid-market clients could mean that growth in 2011 does not match the record levels posted in the previous two years.
