Samsung seeks innovative technology companies
Samsung Electronics are looking to meet with Scottish companies developing new, innovative technologies for hardware, software and materials innovation, with the focus on delivering these embedded technologies for the phone and tablet market. This may also include differentiating applications that could be bundled with the device at sale.
Technology areas that are of particular interest (but not limited to) for mobile devices would be: new sensor technologies, power saving technologies, innovative user experience technologies, artificial intelligence etc.
In terms of timescales, Samsung are looking for technologies and solutions that can be commercialised within 6-18 months. If you are interested in this opportunity and your technology meets Samsung’s requirements, please contact Debbie McCutcheon (see below) as soon as possible for further information on how to make a submission to Samsung. Please note, if selected you will be asked to meet with a representative from Samsung who will be visiting Scotland in late May and early June (dates & location to be confirmed). This will be organised through Interactive Scotland. Successful companies will then be invited to attend the Samsung Partner Day in London (taking place late June)
Samsung Partner Day will give Scottish companies the opportunity to meet senior managers from Korea and directly discuss potential collaboration with key influencers and decision makers. Normally, over two to three days, there will be 10-15 companies from all over Europe giving technology presentations and demo showcases. Invited companies are pre-selected because they address an immediate Samsung need.
