Scolocate wins framework contract
ScoLocate has won a four year framework contract with the Central Government Centre of Procurement Expertise (CGCoPE) to provide web hosting services that will enable central government organisations in Scotland to take advantage of the facilities available at Scotland‟s premier Data Center.
After a rigorous tender process ScoLocate were awarded the contract as they offered best value whilst incorporating the highest standards in service management, security, and connectivity.
The first website to utilise the new service will be the Scottish Government website http://www.scotland.gov.uk which has over 500,000 pages and serves over 60 million page views per year.

The provision of web hosting services framework will enable the Scottish Government and its agencies to reduce the costs of implementing web based services whilst ensuring throughout the framework that the highest service levels are maintained.
