Scotland’s International Awards 2010 - Call for Entries
Across Scotland there are organisations and businesses that are demonstrating leadership, refocusing their resources and energies and investing to grow and develop in international markets.
Scotland’s International Awards will provide a unique platform to recognise the achievements of these Scottish businesses operating in global markets.
The Awards will be presented by Mayor Rudy Giuliani, former Mayor of New York City, at the SCDI Annual Dinner on Friday 19 November which will be attended by 840 senior guests.
Entries are currently being sought for the following award categories:
The Accenture Award for International Partnership
This award will be presented to the company which can best demonstrate an innovative and successful collaboration or partnership with an overseas business or organisation, which has subsequently enhanced its international position and performance.The Award for International Achievement in the Oil and Gas Industry
This award will be presented to the company which can best demonstrate significant international growth in the oil and gas supply chain market.The Brodies Award for International Achievement in Innovation
This award will be presented to the company or organisation which can best demonstrate significant innovation in its products, business processes or customer services which has transformed the way it does business and has made a significant impact on its commercial performance.The Clydesdale Bank Award for Best International Business
This award will be presented to the company which can best demonstrate a track record of outstanding achievement in the global marketplace and ambitions for future expansion. This is likely to involve a strong internationalisation or export strategy which underpins growth and an ability to innovate and break into new markets.The Glasgow Caledonian University International Award
This award will recognise and celebrate outstanding achievement in the international arena by an individual, company or other such organisation which has delivered educational benefits.The Glasgow: Scotland with Style Award for Best International Tourism Business
This award will be presented to the company that demonstrates a significant contribution to increasing tourism into Scotland and enhances Scotland’s reputation in international markets.
