Scottish ICT Industry Awards 2010
At ScotlandIS, we're seeking your nominations for two industry awards for people and businesses in the software and ICT industry operating in Scotland :
ScotlandIS Award for Outstanding Business Achievement
Given to an individual who has made a significant contribution to the Scottish software and ICT industry, this is a special award and is intended to recognise exceptional business achievement.
The 2in10 Award for Outstanding Performance in Business Growth
This award, sponsored by 2in10 will be given to a Scottish based ICT company. The prize is deliberately wide-ranging in the definition of what qualifies as examples (see below) of outstanding performance in business growth.
The award is for actual performance or execution, not just concepts or plans, although the quality of the planning will be taken into account.
Examples of outstanding performance in business growth for this award are :
* A highly effective, targeted sales campaign
* A change in channel strategy to achieve a particular goal
* Launch into a new market, either sectoral or territorial
* Year on year sales growth
* A switch from selling services to selling product
* Exceptional sales performance
* Design and execution of a channel marketing campaign.
How to make your nomination :
Submit your nomination(s) here giving a brief reason(s) for your choice. It would be great if you would complete both categories, but its not obligatory.
The nominations will be judged by a panel drawn from the industry, and the awards will be presented at this year's ScotSoft dinner on 30th September 2010.
Call or email us for details of the application - the deadline for nominations is 13th August 2010.
