It will not be a surprise that data regulation should be a key focus for you in 2018 with GDPR compliance imminent.  The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is set to come into force on the 25th May, 2018.  The regulation will completely overhaul the rules for how businesses handle the personal data for any organisation operating in the EU, or any organisation that handles the data of EU citizens.  GDPR is designed to protect the privacy of users, and ensure customer data is kept secure.

At the event, our speaker Mark Connolly from Marketing Mavens will share his knowledge of the GDPR regulation and what the likely impact of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for both consumers and businesses are, and understand some of the fundamental changes between GDPR and the prior Data Protection Act.  You will learn:

  • how the regulation requires better information management and what you need to do
  • how to keep your data secure
  • what legal standpoint you should take

During the session, Cofficient experts will also offer practical advice on how businesses can prepare their data management strategy for these changes.

By the end of the event, you will have the knowledge and checklist of activities to make your business GDPR compliant.

So why not come along to our free event, enjoy some breakfast networking and start your journey to becoming GDPR compliant.
