The Scottish Government and the Royal Danish Embassy are organising an event to highlight the challenges to modern healthcare services.
The pressures from an ageing population that is living longer with diseases that are more complex have forced healthcare services to look for new approaches to providing healthcare services. Healthcare services are therefore adopting new technologies and new care models as one way to secure existing and future services.
In this event, we will discuss Scottish-Danish experiences in adopting new approaches to healthcare. The seminar will include Scottish and Danish speakers from healthcare providers and technology providers and aims to discuss the key learning points from this transformation process.
