New research on skills needs of digital tech employers

Skills Development Scotland on behalf of the ICT and Digital Technologies Skills Group, are undertaking an analysis of the digital technologies sector in Scotland. Given the importance of digital technologies skills for our industry and the wider economy,  it is critical that we understand, and can support the current and future skills needs of digital technology employers. 
As part of this an employer skills survey is being conducted which will assess the current and likely future skills needs and issues in the digital technologies workforce.  Ultimately, the research will deliver a strong and robust evidence base with which to inform skills investment planning for the digital technology sector and other sectors with a growing need for digital skills.
