Dynamic Purchasing System for IoT now live

The previously announced Internet of Things – Dynamic Purchasing System is now live and Scottish public sector organisations can start using it to buy IoT solutions.

The Dynamic Purchasing System (DSP) operates in a similar way to a framework, however, it is an electronic process and suppliers can apply to join the DPS at any time. The scope of the Io includes a wide range of technologies and services, including device management, data management, integration, analytics, security, etc.

Scottish Procurement have had a good response from suppliers registering for the DSP, with over 75% being SMEs at launch.

Suppliers are able to apply to join the DPS at any time, so numbers are expected to grow.
