Scottish Government Briefing: Working with the digital technologies industry

An exceptional opportunity to discuss the challenges facing the public sector as it seeks to use digital technologies to improve citizens’ lives and deliver added efficiencies.

This event builds on the conference held at Heriot Watt University in November 2015 and is aimed at suppliers currently serving the public sector or that have aspirations to do so.

Demonstrating the ministerial commitment to digital public services the keynote address will be given by Derek Mackay, Cabinet Secretary for Finance and the Constitution. This will be followed by panel sessions continuing the dialogue between the public sector and industry on a number of key topics.

Input from the audience, or afterwards in individual conversations, is welcomed on how the public sector and the digital technologies industry can best work together to deliver the Scotland 2020 vision.
