DBT and the British High Commission in Singapore are organising a trade delegation, to coincide with the Singapore Week of Innovation and Technology (SWITCH).
The UK and Singapore have a Strategic Partnership encompassing five pillars including research, science, innovation, and technology cooperation.
In February 2022, the UK and Singapore signed the Digital Economy Framework. Subsequently MoUs on Emerging Technologies, and Data cooperation were signed in June 2023.
In May 2024 Singapore launched it’s National Quantum Strategy (NQS) which is backed by S$300 million (approx. £171.45 mil) under the Research, Innovation and Enterprise 2025 plan that guides public sector R&D investment.
