Strengthening Scotland’s Digital Defences
ScotlandIS are pleased to have secured funding through the Scottish Government to support small and medium sized organisations to achieve Cyber Essentials (CE) certification – a crucial step in protecting sensitive data, mitigating cyber threats, and ensuring operational resilience.
This fund will be distributed to SMEs in Scotland, allowing you to access up to £1000 to secure CE accreditation (Terms and Conditions Apply).
Why Cyber Essentials?
Cyber Essentials certification helps to:
- Reduce cyber risks by defending against common online threats
- Strengthen public trust by demonstrating commitment to cybersecurity best practices
- Ensure compliance with government security standards and frameworks
- Enhance resilience against cyberattacks, minimising potential disruption to services/operations
Eligibility & Application
- Your organisation must be a small or medium sized business, and based or registered in Scotland
- The fund will cover both new applications and lapsed CE certifications
- Successful applicants must complete the certification process by three months after the invoice date
Funds will be allocated on a first come, first served basis, so early application is encouraged.
