Virtuoso, the recruitment outsourcing solution within the Taranata Group, has been appointed by Aegon UK as its new Managed Service Provider for day-rate contractors and temporary workers.
The appointment follows a competitive tender process and will see Virtuoso deliver a consolidated, highly governed and data-driven Managed Service Provider model across Aegon UK’s contingent workforce. The partnership will focus on enhancing talent quality, improving compliance and delivering a seamless experience for both Aegon UK stakeholders and contractor populations.
Under the new partnership, Virtuoso will provide a centralised resourcing model, lifecycle management of all contractors, streamlined pre-employment screening via our best in class Validify team, and full supplier and performance governance, leveraging the combined specialist expertise of Head Resourcing and Change Recruitment, both part of the Taranata Group.
Lee Murray, Chief Growth & Strategy Officer for Virtuoso and the wider Taranata Group, said:
“We are delighted to have been chosen by Aegon UK as their Managed Service Provider partner. Our relationship with Aegon spans many years, and this appointment reflects a shared ambition to deliver a more controlled, consistent and insight-led approach to contingent resourcing.
“Virtuoso is built around partnership combining deep sector expertise, robust governance and a truly people-first ethos. Led by Lesley Shepherd, our Virtuoso Director, we’re excited to bring this to life with Aegon UK, supporting their future plans and ensuring they have access to the talent, data and delivery confidence needed for the future.”
Euan McNair, Talent Acquisition, Employer Brand & Inclusion Director at Aegon UK, said:
“Selecting Virtuoso as our new Managed Service Provider partner reflects our commitment to delivering a more unified, compliant and insight-driven approach to contingent resourcing. After a programme of Talent Acquisition transformation, it was important for us to select a partner that would be an extension of our team. Their understanding of our business, proven delivery capability and strong focus on candidate and hiring-manager experience were all clear differentiators.”
“We look forward to working closely together to bring greater visibility, stronger governance and meaningful operational improvements across our contractor population—supporting both our business priorities and our people-first culture.”
Go-live will follow a phased implementation and contractor migration period supported jointly by Virtuoso and the Aegon UK Talent Acquisition and Procurement teams.
