New Cyber Upskilling Fund

Are you interested in upskilling your employees in Cyber Security at no cost to your business?

Now is the time with support from the Cyber Upskilling Fund, financed through the Scottish Government’s National Transition Training Fund. This contributes towards the ambitions of A Strategic Framework for a Cyber Resilient Scotland.

The aim of the fund is to boost job opportunities and drive growth within Scotland’s cyber sector, by allowing existing employees (aged 25 or over) to develop their skills and progress in their career, and enabling new junior roles or vacancies to be created in their place.

As an employer you can claim up to £5000 per learner (maximum of £10,000 per organisation) to pay for cyber skills training for your employees; simply fill out an application for the employees you would like to upskill including course or qualification details and costs.

To be eligible, your organisation must be registered or based in Scotland, and training must be secured by 31st March 2022.

This opportunity isn’t sector specific; if you have staff you wish to upskill to cyber roles, you can access the fund.

This is a quick and easy way to access skills funding for employees, nurturing your workforce and adding value to your organisation.

You can now apply for the fund here.
