The Challenge
The challenge for the Fibre 1 team was to identify suitable carriers like Cityfibre, Zen and Glide that cover a wide area across the UK offering full Fibre FTTP services to business. The intention is to create the most functional up to date portal within the UK Channel market that will allow all stakeholders to use the portal and place orders for this new technology.
The Solution
They have developed a program called Fibre 1 Connect. It is a portal that fully integrates with major telecoms carriers UK wide that operate in the FTTP and Fibre space. The project also wanted to provide a system that partners and internal members of the team could track and record progress of providing these full Fibre products to the market. The intel provided to partners would be key to overall project success.
The Impact
The system is 80% now functioning and is already proving successful.
Future Plans
The fully integrated system, Fibre 1 Connect, will allow all stakeholders to accept and complete orders across multiple platforms for full fibre products (FTTP). This will be industry leading across the UK channel marketplace and will result in over £1.5M in additional sales over a three-year period as a direct result. The impact of this project will lead to the continued growth and sustainability of the company and allow them to explore further new markets.
