KubeNet has been appointed to take over and manage the full IT environment for Erskine Veterans Charity, supporting the organisation as it continues its vital work with veterans across Scotland.
Erskine Veterans Charity is one of Scotland’s most respected veterans’ organisations, supporting more than 1,300 veterans and their families each year. Founded in 1916, Erskine delivers a wide range of services including specialist care homes, supported housing, community and activity centres, transitional accommodation for veterans at risk of homelessness, and home support services across multiple locations throughout Scotland.
To support this scale of activity, Erskine went to market seeking a modern, secure, and resilient Managed IT Service that could support staff and volunteers’ day to day, strengthen cyber security, and provide long‑term stability across all sites. Following a competitive tender process, KubeNet was selected to deliver a comprehensive Managed Services solution, covering service desk support, proactive infrastructure and network management, enhanced cyber security, on‑site engineering, and a clear roadmap for future improvement.
As part of the transition, all three members of Erskine’s internal IT team will transfer to KubeNet under TUPE. They will continue to support Erskine throughout the handover period, ensuring continuity and familiarity for staff and volunteers, before becoming fully embedded members of Team Kube. This approach preserves vital organisational knowledge while strengthening the service with the wider capability of KubeNet’s support team.
Cyber security formed a central part of Erskine’s requirements, and KubeNet will introduce enhanced protections aligned with industry best practice. This includes improved monitoring, strengthened policies, and a proactive approach to maintaining resilience and protecting sensitive systems and data.
Beyond the delivery of IT services, KubeNet will also support Erskine Veterans Charity through its wider CSR commitments, including fundraising initiatives, staff volunteering days, and community engagement, reinforcing a partnership built on shared values as well as technical capability.
Julie Inglis, Director at KubeNet, said:
“Erskine is one of Scotland’s most respected and impactful charities. We are honoured to support their mission by providing secure, modern, and resilient IT services across all locations. Our role is to give Erskine’s staff, volunteers, and residents the confidence that technology will always be there for them.”
Eddie Foy, Head of Digital and Technology at Erskine Veterans Charity, said:
“Everything we do begins with the veterans we support, and the people who care for them. To deliver that care with dignity and compassion, our teams need technology they can trust every single day. KubeNet showed not only the technical strength we were looking for, but a genuine understanding of what Erskine stands for. Their commitment to protecting our organisation, supporting our staff, and contributing to our wider mission made this partnership feel like the right step for our future. This is about more than IT services — it’s about strengthening the foundations that allow us to give veterans the quality of life they deserve.”
