Factory73 becomes Scotland’s only Umbraco Platinum Partner

Glasgow-based web development agency Factory73 has become Scotland’s only Umbraco Platinum Partner, achieving the highest level of partnership offered by the global content management system provider.

The new status reflects Factory73’s growing commitment to Umbraco and its experience delivering complex websites and digital platforms for organisations across the private and public sectors.

Platinum is Umbraco’s top partnership tier and is aimed at specialist agencies working on enterprise projects, cloud implementations and strategic collaboration with Umbraco itself. For Factory73, it provides closer access to the Umbraco team, technical support and ongoing training, helping the agency remain closely aligned with the future development of the platform.

The recognition follows a period of continued investment in Umbraco expertise within the Factory73 team. The agency was also named an Umbraco Contributing Gold Partner in 2025, recognising its contribution of time and expertise back into the wider Umbraco community.

Factory73 works with organisations including SThree PLC, Whyte & Mackay, NHS Highland, Landsec’s MYO, Railpen and The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo. Its work ranges from multi-site and multi-brand platforms to headless implementations, complex integrations, upgrades and the ongoing support of established Umbraco websites.

The milestone comes during Factory73’s 15th anniversary year. Founded in Glasgow in 2011, the agency specialises in technically complex web projects, integrations and ongoing digital support.

Factory73 celebrated its new Platinum status at Codegarden 2026, Umbraco’s annual international conference, and plans to continue investing in its Umbraco capability as the platform and the requirements of its clients evolve.
