West Lothian College is offering a new FREE cyber security course to get learners the skills they need to start a career in the digital world.
The NPA in Cyber Security SCQF Level 6 will give you knowledge and understanding of how to protect individuals and businesses from becoming victims of cyber-crime. Covering units in data security, digital forensics, ethical hacking and will give a solid foundation in various areas of cyber security, this six week course will give you a solid foundation in cyber security.
Start Date: 29th March
(aptitude and assessment session on 17th March)
Days of Week: Monday, Tuesday Wednesday, or Wednesday Thursday, Friday
This course can lead on to further education in Cyber Security or help you gain access into a career in cyber security.
The criteria to be eligible for the course is:
Recently completed any course of study (proof of this will be required)
Confident in using computers and external devices and an understanding of numbers
Commitment to learning is essential
Prior to the start of the course there will be an aptitude and assessment session. If you meet the criteria for the course you will be invited to join.
