In this blog from COO Nicola Taylor, read more about the success of ScotlandIS members at the 2026 Scottish Cyber Awards held in March.
It was great to see so many familiar names recognised at this year’s Scottish Cyber Awards, and we wanted to take a moment to say a huge congratulations to the ScotlandIS members and wider community champions who were celebrated on the night. The awards took place in Edinburgh on 26 March and recognised people and organisations making a real impact across Scotland’s cyber sector.
A special well done to Acumen Cyber, named Cyber Company of the Year. That is a fantastic achievement and a real reflection of the strength of the team and the work they are doing.
Congratulations must also go to Forrit for picking up the Cyber Resilience Award. In a year when resilience, preparedness and trust continue to matter so much, it is a brilliant category to be commended for.
It was also wonderful to see kidsnclicks awarded with Best Security Awareness Campaign, and to see Parven Kumar celebrated as well. Recognition like this matters because it highlights the value of work that helps make cyber more accessible, more understandable and more relevant to the everyday lives of individuals.
A big congratulations as well to Annabel Turner from CyberSafe Scotland, who was named as Evangelist of the Year. Awards like this say a lot about the people who put real energy into building awareness, confidence and community across the sector.
And finally, a huge well done to Natalie Coull from Abertay University, who received the Special Recognition Award. It is always encouraging to see people acknowledged, not just for one moment or one project, but for the wider contribution they make to the strength of cyber in Scotland.
To everyone honoured on the night, and especially those mentioned above, it was very well deserved. We’re proud to have you in the ScotlandIS community.
Well done to the DIGIT Team on what looked to be another excellent evening.
