Edinburgh Napier University’s Cyber Security Courses

Edinburgh Napier has developed a series of cyber security short courses which are now open for registration.

The School of Computing at Edinburgh Napier University is an NCSC Academic Centre of Excellence in Cybersecurity Education (ACE-CE) and is releasing the first phase of their “Supporting the Workforce of the Future” initiative with a range of training courses.

Each course runs for either 1, 2 or 4 days, and includes subjects such as Cyber Incident Response Plan, Open Source Intelligence, Introduction to Blockchain & Smart Contracts, and more.

These courses are suited to developing your skills and understanding of current issues – essential in today’s evolving tech environment. The University’s provisions cover a wide range of skills and industries and will support you to upskill, reskill and contribute to your continuing professional development (CPD).

Edinburgh Napier is a holder of Scottish Funding Council Upskilling funding, which means that in some cases can offer fully funded places on the courses. The fees are paid by the Scottish Funding Council, and therefore participation is free for the learner. Places for these will be filled on a first come first served basis.

The course schedule offers something for all levels including non-technical business leaders who need to understand cyber threats. Entry requirements are provided from each course on the Napier website.
