Fife Council Economic Development and the Supplier Development Programme, in partnership with hub East Central Scotland, Fife College, BAM, Balfour Beatty and Network Rail, are hosting a virtual Meet the Buyer event of 4 November during Fife Business Week 2021.

Aimed at local micro, small and medium sized businesses in Fife and Tayside but open to all, this year’s Meet the Buyer event is focused on contract opportunities are available as part of the Dunfermline Learning Campus (DLC) (£200m project) and the Levenmouth Railway Link project delivery (£70m project). Suppliers will explore how to do business with hub East Central Scotland, Fife College, BAM, Balfour Beatty, Network Rail and Fife Council Procurement. Suppliers will also hear about upcoming opportunities and find out the requirements to be eligible to bid on contracts in supply chains, as well as understanding what Community Benefits will be delivered as part of the projects.

Attendees will also learn about top tendering tips and gain insight into the support that is available to become “tender ready” for these future opportunities through the Supplier Development Programme.
