nnovate UK is looking for its next successful cohort for the Global Business Innovation Programme (GBIP), to help 15 ambitious innovative SMEs who have novel AI/5G technologies/services to collaborate, localise, commercialise and achieve their objectives in Singapore and Asia.

Successful applicants will benefit from a structured programme of support to 1) prepare for and exhibit at Singapore Week of Innovation & Technology (SWITCH), Asia’s leading technology, innovation and enterprise festival, and 2) a long term commitment to the region, initiating and building research, technology and innovation partnerships to develop ongoing commercial project ideas for the market.

  • Exhibit and pitch at Singapore Week of Innovation & Technology (SWITCH) 7-11 Dec 2020
  • Take part in a post-visit exploitation workshop
  • Follow-up business support from your dedicated EEN advisor

FOCUS AREAS

This Programme is particularly relevant to businesses applying Artificial Intelligence (AI) in areas such as:

  • Inspection of infrastructure and defects in manufacturing
  • Logistics management
  • Improvement to retails sales and operations
  • Dynamic pricing
  • Robotics
  • Security

Within 5G, there is an interest in applications that could benefit from higher speed and low latency connectivity such as Narrowband Internet of Things (NB-IoT). Smart meter solutions able to connect via NB-IoT and related areas will also be of interest.
