ScotlandIS have been working hard over the last five weeks to ensure the voice of the sector in Scotland is heard by both Scottish Government and UK Government.

We have been working daily with representative bodies throughout the UK and have lobbied the Department of Digital, Culture Media & Sport on weekly calls around support for business, but particularly about high growth, innovative companies accessing finance.

The Chancellor announced this week a package of measures that include the establishment of the Future Fund, £250m of new government funding which will be unlocked by private investment on a match funded basis. The Future Fund aims to support businesses that have been unable to access other government business support programmes, such as CBILS.

Details of the scheme are still being finalised and DCMS are keen that this is a consultative process with industry and would like to garner feedback on the delivery mechanisms around the Fund.

This is your opportunity to input directly to DCMS and the Treasury on the delivery of the £250m match funding; what’s right or wrong with it; what other delivery mechanisms need to be added; and what do the Government need to be aware of?
