Skills Development Scotland have been delivering a number of projects focused on bringing Industry into the Classroom to support teachers delivering Cyber Security and Technology lessons, aiming to bring the subject to life as much as possible. The implementation of this has been well received with both teachers and pupils to date.

Due to COVID, we have spent some time looking at how we can continue that engagement virtually so that both learners and teachers still continue to receive the benefits that industry can bring to the classroom. The goal is to make it easy for industry volunteers to run engaging sessions with schools across Scotland, not limited by geographic constraints or issues that would make delivering in-person difficult at this time.

We are running a session on Thursday 24th September to demo our proposed virtual engagement model, and also get feedback on areas that we could improve on.
