Event Details

With less than a year until COP26, the UN climate change conference that will take place in Glasgow in 2021, we’d like to invite you to join Interface, the North East Digital Ecosystem and our North East expert speakers at our upcoming webinar to explore what organisations have been doing in the North East to address and tackle climate change challenges.

Climate tech is a rapidly emerging industry in which data-driven products are developed to enable communities, companies, and governments to understand their risk and exposure to the effects of climate change and take action to adapt and become resilient.

The event is hosted by Interface on behalf of our partners in North East Digital Ecosystem: Opportunity North East, ScotlandIS, The DataLab, CENSIS, Barclays EagleLabs, the OGTC, Skills Development Scotland, Elevator and Scottish Enterprise.

Our speakers will share with us their journeys and how they’ve benefited from collaborating with academia and intermediary organisations. As well as finding out how easy it can be to connect with academic through Interface’s free impartial service and Scottish Funding Council funding that could be tapped into enabling these academic / business partnerships.

Speakers include Interface, Aventus AI, Planetary AI, ScotlandIS and CENSIS.

The webinar will last 1 hour and include a Q&A session.

Who should attend?
Tech companies, climate tech companies, those interested in developments in the North East.
