Online Safety Technology is a growing area with an increasing number of companies focusing on this area to ensure individuals, especially the young, vulnerable and elderly can safely and with confidence use the internet and avoid digital exclusion.

A group of industry leaders have recently set up the Online Safety Tech Industry Association (OSTIA). DCMS have also recognised this as an area of key importance both to society but also to the economy and have published the UK Online Safety Technology Sector report of which Scotland gets plenty of recognition for leading the way.
