Event Details

We’re kicking off next year with one of our most anticipated events: Tech Trends 2021.

While this year’s session will be a little different, it promises to be as insightful and informative as ever.

Making predictions after a year like 2020 is rather daunting, however we can see the emergence of new trends, acceleration of old ones, and the slowing of others. Discover ten practical trends that you should be following if you work in technology. Ranging from the future of work to human centric security by way of the new desktop paradigm, this session will prepare you to lead in 2021.

Due to the circumstances following the pandemic, the event will be held virtually in the new year, and instead of three sessions in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Aberdeen, there will be one combined event.

Our favourite former Gartner analyst, Richard Marshall, will be back to lead this event, and a thank you to Pinsent Masons, DLA Piper and Burness Paull for returning to partner with us.

So pull up a chair with some pizza and beer and join us on Wednesday 20th January at 4pm for a front-row seat to the future.

Register:

You can book for Tech Trends 2021 by clicking “Learn More”.

The event is free for all ScotlandIS members, and a nominal fee of £10 will be charged for non-members, who will be contacted to make payment via PayPal after registering.

All proceeds from the non-member fee will be donated to the Digital Xtra Fund, an initiative to inspire the next generation to understand and create with technology by funding extracurricular computing and digital activities for young people.

If you are unable to use Zoom and you cannot register on the platform please email Nicole.Johnston@scotlandis.com to let us know. We will have a private stream available on a separate channel and will issue details accordingly. Non members will still be charged.
